The Embassy of Nepal to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was established in 1978. It had its offices in Jeddah,
then Capital of Saudi Arabia and moved to Riyadh in 1985.
The Embassy has been playing an
important role in nurturing the relations between Nepal and the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As this Embassy is sole representative
for the whole Gulf region
except Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, it has been active in
developing relations with other Gulf nations too.
The Embassy was located at Batha region in Riyadh for about 17
years. It has moved to a new location in Sulaimania District of
Riyadh on February 1, 2002.
